Don’t Quit

When making changes in your life, you will fight many battles. You will fight against naysayers. You will fight against the system. You may even fight against loved ones. But these battles pale in comparison to the fiercest battle you’ll ever have to fight.

It is the battle against your old self.

As you step into a ‘new you’, the ‘old you’ will fight tooth and nail to retain its form. The ‘old you’ sees comfort in staying the same…it fears change. Even if the ‘new you’ is an improved version, the ‘old you’ will tell you stories to discourage you.

-You’re not good enough

-It’s too hard

-It’s a waste of time

-You don’t even know if this is going to work

When the ‘old you’ is telling you these stories…and as they get louder and louder…just remember that you are on the right track. No matter what obstacles come your way…no matter how hard it may seem…when you are at your breaking point…THAT’S even more reason to keep going.

Whatever you do, don’t quit.
